OK- How cool is this? Jealous! I love noticing quiet people. It has taken a lot of practice for me to do that!

Thank you for this play-by-play - especially the part about noticing when the quietest person in the room furrows her brow.

I enjoyed reading your insights. I have had the biggest crush on Esther Perel since I first heard her. What a brilliant woman! As I was reading, I felt like sharing that in my first language (Macedonian), “dating” is not part of the vocabulary. I live in the US, so when people ask me if I am dating, I never know what to say (Yesss? Maybee? I mean, I would go out with someone interesting I find in happenstance). It’s really interesting to think about it from linguistic and cultural perspective too. I might write something about it one day :)

This is beyond! Such a wholesome and refreshing perspective on dating that isn’t male-centered. Love you so much ❤️❤️❤️

I love Esther and really what it boils down to is we are all human. And being human is a messy art. Thanks for your post!
